For Filipino-American Doreen Reynolds, it’s never too late to learn and appreciate the cultures of neighbors in Asia.

Reynolds graced the May 18 opening and went again a week ago. The museum is open from 11 am to 5 pm and admission is free for kids aged five years old and below and seniors aged 62 years old and above.

Student admissions are priced at US $7 and general admission is $10. Doreen said she went first to the Philippine area and read again the Filipino pioneers in North Carolina.

Reynolds then went to see the Cambodia booth and urged fellow Filipino-Americans and her Asian friends to visit the exhibit at the Charlotte Museam of History which carries the theme ‘Journey of Hope.’ The exhibit ends on July 29.
