‘Hibang Sa Musika’ scheduled this Saturday
ROCKINGHAM, North Carolina—Music fans can expect an energetic and sentimental night as six bands, two soloists, one duet and two dance groups take the stage at Matthews Community Auditorium on Saturday, August 29. The mini concert dubbed as ‘Hibang sa Musika’ is expected to draw fans from across North Carolina. Tess Olarte, FACC Board Secretary who chairs the event ‘Hibang Musika’ says ‘everything is in place for Saturdays’s big event.’ Among the bands scheduled to play in the event are Pinoy Noir, the Bakery, Dust N d Attic, Dis Band, Purple Moon Dust and D’ Amore. The love of music among the members of these bands cemented their friendships thtough the years. Such friendships were forged by performing in local events, family gatherings, churches or being front acts of celebrities coming to Charlotte or in North Carolina. All of these musicians worked in different entities and often meet each other when available all while sharpening their singing and musical skills....
